What counts as a billable verification?
You are only charged for completed verification submissions. Failed attempts, cancelled sessions, and retries are not billed.
Is there a free trial or sandbox?
Yes. Scale and Business plans include a sandbox environment for integration testing. Contact us for sandbox access on the Launch plan.
How is manual review priced?
Manual review for borderline age-only cases and full KYC verifications is included in the per-verification rate. There is no separate charge.
What data retention is included?
Age verification records are retained for 1 year with annual renewal. Full KYC / 2257 performer records are retained for 7 years as required by law.
What is Customer-Managed Storage (BYOS)?
BYOS lets you route verification media (ID images, liveness videos) to your own S3-compatible storage. AgeEvidence retains session metadata, decisions, and audit trails. Available as a €199/month add-on on Launch, or included with Scale and Business.
Do you offer a fully self-hosted or on-premises deployment?
No. AgeEvidence is a hosted verification service. For data residency and storage control, we offer Customer-Managed Storage (BYOS) that routes sensitive media to your own S3-compatible infrastructure. We do not provide our source code.
